Girls are often curious about science, building, coding, inventing, and problem-solving. The problem is that many do not get enough early chances to explore those things in a way that feels welcoming.

Her Path creates those chances through local workshops, after-school programs, STEM read-alouds, learning videos, and student-led mentorship. We make STEM hands-on, approachable, and connected to real people girls can relate to.

โœฆ Why we started

Our story is simple: girls need more chances to try STEM early.

Her Path began from a real observation: many girls are curious, capable, and creative, but they do not always get enough early exposure to STEM in a way that feels welcoming or relatable.

So we started creating practical entry points โ€” workshops, after-school programs, STEM story read-alouds, student-made learning videos, and community support. Every effort points to the same goal: help girls see themselves as builders, scientists, engineers, inventors, and leaders.

1
We start early.Girls need exposure before doubt becomes part of their identity.
2
We keep it real.Activities are hands-on, age-appropriate, and led by students who feel relatable.
3
We focus on confidence. The point is not perfection. It is helping a girl say, โ€œI can try this.โ€
4
We grow through community.Families, schools, libraries, mentors, and volunteers help us reach the next group of girls.
